International Comfort Products: entry-level a/c

The Tempstar split-system performance series now offers two models designed for the entry-level market. The 12-SEER model can achieve up to 13 SEER when matched with selected indoor units, says the company. The two models are available in capacities from 1.5 through 5 tons. Features include easier installation and service though external refrigerant connections and service valves with 31/2-in. stubs, the company says. Top air discharge offers quieter operation and low sound levels compared to other systems, says the manufacturer.
