The CALYS 10® multifunction calibrator and tester (from the French firm AOIP) is ergonomically designed and suitable for portable, hand-held use, or as a bench-type unit for laboratory use. Functions of the calibrator include measurement and simulation of current, temperature (RTD and thermocouple sensors), dc voltage, and resistance. The company says the CALYS 10 can be used to calibrate controls and perform on-site maintenance of meters, transmitters, recorders, and other process loop devices. The calibrator is suitable for industrial maintenance, process calibration, laboratory, or R&D department use.
