The Compass refrigerant leak detector, with its patented heated diode sensor, is specially designed for residential and commercial a/c leak detection applications. The easy-to-use refrigerant leak detector provides excellent sensitivity, up to 0.15 ounces per year. It can pinpoint the leak source quickly through the high/low sensitivity adjustment; LEDs illuminate progressively to convey leak size. A water-resistant filter protects this dependable sensor from jobsite contaminants, such as dust, dirt, and oil. The Compass is powered by rechargeable NiMH batteries and features a low-battery indicator. It also comes with an ac adapter.
