A new monitoring service is available to help users of motors, compressors, and other lubricated equipment, prolong service life and reduce maintenance and repair costs, the company says. Called Lube Rx™, the service analyzes lubricants to detect such things as excessive wear and contamination. A lubrication analysis kit enables users to collect lubricant samples from equipment and send them in to be analyzed. The kit includes eight sample test bottles with identification labels, a hose and gun to draw samples, instructions, and mailing materials.
