ZURICH, Switzerland - The 9th International Energy Agency Heat Pump Conference, May 20-22, 2008, is calling for papers. Abstract submissions should be 200-300 words and must be turned in to the appropriate regional coordinator by April 30, 2007. The abstracts will be screened and authors will be advised of acceptance by June 30, 2007. Full paper submissions will be required by Jan. 31, 2008.
The conference, previously held in locations across the globe, is designed to promote heat pump technologies through discussions, networking, and information exchange. This upcoming conference will focus on heat pumps, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Technology, markets, and policy and standards issues will be dealt with in light of environmental benefits and energy conservation.
The goal of the conference is to promote heat pump technologies.
