Windland Inc. (Boise, ID) has announced plans to construct the first commercial wind farm in Idaho. The site, on Cotterel Mountain, covers approximately 4,600 acres on lands managed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. It is expected to generate enough power to supply 40,000 homes annually.
