IAQ Council Explains Certification Process at Website

As part of its ongoing Website enhancement program, the American Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Council has developed a slide show explaining its certification processes and requirements.

The slide show, which may be viewed directly from the IAQ Council Website (www.iaqcouncil.org), takes a prospective candidate through the certification process step by step. Along the way, the presentation provides links to required documents and forms, and also directs the viewer to various Web pages for other helpful information.

“In order to maintain our accreditations, we must bring each candidate through a rigorous application process involving verification of experience and independent board review,” said Charlie Wiles, American IAQ Council executive director. “At the same time, we don’t want anyone to be confused by the detailed requirements.

“The slide show presents these requirements in an easy to follow format that will help people fully understand our certification programs.”

The American Indoor Air Quality Council is a nonprofit certifying body founded in 1993 to serve the IAQ industry. The IAQ Council operates independent, third-party accredited certification programs for indoor environmental consultants, microbial consultants, microbial remediators, indoor air quality administrators, and residential mold inspectors.
