Hussmann International: temperature monitor
The Safe-NET is an electronic system for monitoring or controlling case temperatures in one or more supermarkets. The system enables the user to verify and maintain compliance with FDA and NSF regulations. It uses Echelon’s LonWorks protocol, making it compatible with many third-party systems and allowing communications with a number of facilities from a single PC, the company says. Temperatures can be monitored in up to 20 different areas of each case, including discharge air, return air, product temperatures, and coil inlet-outlet temperatures.
