MISSISSAUGA, ON, Canada — The Manufacturers Division of the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) announced that HRAI has launched a website (www.gasfireplace.ca) with its manufacturer members who sell gas fireplaces in Canada. This website has been created to provide a focal point for homeowners to obtain information on gas fireplaces.

Manufacturers profiled on this site include Majestic Vermont Castings, Lennox Hearth Products, Selkirk Canada, Hearth Technologies, and Napoleon. The website features information on types of gas fireplaces, types of venting, energy efficiency, operation and maintenance tips, frequently asked questions, and a glossary of terms. The site also includes a Gas Fireplace Consumer Guide that can be downloaded.

The new website is said to be part of HRAI’s gas hearth manufacturers’ commitment to providing homeowners with a reliable source of accurate information on gas hearth products.
