The new Rapid Freeze® Model 1000 heavy-duty commercial ice flaker is now available. The unit provides a new product niche for the company, extending its line to smaller capacity operations, the manufacturer says. It now offers a capacity range from 1,000 to 6,000 lbs of flake ice per day. The Model 1000 features a 25-year warranty on the evaporator and a 10-year ice blade warranty, says the company. The unit is also energy efficient, requires minimal maintenance, and offers a diversity of refrigerants, electrical options, and condenser configurations, the company says.
