House Bill Includes Hvac Education
WASHINGTON, DC — According to the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC), a current House Subcommittee energy bill includes a provision that would provide $5 million for fiscal years 2002 and 2003 to educate homeowners and small businesses concerning energy savings resulting from regularly scheduled maintenance of hvac systems.
Other amendments include an effort to impose higher CAFE (corporate average fuel economy) standards.
