Honeywell Analytics Distribution Inc.: Gas Detection Instrumentation

Three products have been added to the X Series line of durable, easy-to-use portable gas detection instrumentation. The X5 Model five-gas detector simultaneously monitors up to five gases, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs). An optional IR sensor and a PID sensor offer monitoring of percent of carbon dioxide and detecting VOCs, respectively. The XD Model single-gas detector monitors a wide range of toxic gases at parts per million levels and percent of oxygen concentration. The X5 and XD detectors use a wide range of the company’s electrochemical sensors, available in many user-selectable configurations to detect the most common gases that crews are likely to encounter in HVAC environments. Both feature multilanguage support, data logging, large, easy-to-read backlit display, attention-grabbing alarms and compatibility with the MicroDock II automatic docking station and Fleet Manager II data management software. MicroDock II test/calibration docking system is compatible with X5 and XD portable detectors. Expandable up to 10 docking modules, the MicroDock II offers automatic one-touch calibration/bump testing/data transfer and simplified record-keeping, plus battery charging of up to six detectors (X5 Model only, wall adaptor required).
