MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Hearth Technologies, Inc., announced organizational changes designed to “leverage the expertise and strengths in both manufacturing and distribution in an effort to become a more flexible and responsive company.” The company will be managed through three functional areas, Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, and Hearth Services (distribution). The previous structure was separated by brand, with Heat-N-Glo, Heatilator, and Aladdin working with Hearth Services’ distribution arm as four independent divisions.

Dan Shimek, president of Hearth, said, “Our goal is to get closer to the market. This new structure will put more authority for sales and marketing decisions closer to the market, through the implementation of a number of business units.”

“To accomplish our goals of growing market share and helping our distributors to become more profitable, we will strengthen our Value in Partnership (VIP) programs with additional business tools including best practices and financial modeling,” he said. “We have always considered ourselves a market-driven company; this new structure will ensure we do what is necessary to keep our distribution allies and our end customers happy.”
