Hallinan Elected CCA Trustee At-Large

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Richard Hallinan of Executive Plumbing, Heating & Air, Corona, CA, was elected as a new trustee at-large of the Construction Contractors’ Alliance, an enhanced service group of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association.

The announcement was made at CCA’s trustee meeting, held here recently.

Hallinan joins three other California contractors who are CCA trustees: Ron Capilla of Can-Am Plumbing, Pleasanton, CA; Scott Perryman of Perryman Mechanical, West Sacramento, CA; and Rod Robbins of Santa Ana, CA.

Terry Self of Interstate Mechanical, Inc., Knoxville, TN, was elected CCA’s new chairman. Self, who has served on the CCA board of trustees for three years, is an active member of the PHCC Tennessee, having served as state president in 1996 and 1997. He is currently serving on the PHCC Tennessee board of directors as treasurer. Self also was honored as the 1999 NAPHCC Trane HVAC Contractor of the Year.

In addition to the four California trustees, other CCA trustees are Jim Golub, Golub Mechanical Contractors, Inc., Akron, OH; and Dickie McCurdy, Amarillo, TX;

Departing trustees who completed their terms during the meeting were chairman Bill Jones, Raven Mechanical, Houston, TX; and Tom LeDuc, LeDuc & Dexter, Santa Rosa, CA.

The trustees will meet again in May to finalize plans for the Sept. 18-20, 2002, CCA meeting in Kohler, WI.CCA serves larger p-h-c construction contractors specializing in residential, industrial, commercial and institutional construction.
