MOUNTAINSIDE, N.J. — HAGO Manufacturing has announced that it is the first equipment supplier to the oil heat industry to introduce and qualify a Web site training exam to be accredited by the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA). Applicants who successfully complete the exam are awarded a continuing education credit (NORA CEU) toward technical certification.

Those interested can preview and take the exam by going to www.hagonozzles.com and proceed to the “continuing education” tab. Participants then scroll to the online NORA exam link, which provides the exam and submittal form. Charles Bursey, HAGO’s technical field representative, will be administering the exam and subsequent certificates for those who successfully complete future online courses.

According to HAGO Nozzles, the exam is generic in nature and is not specific to HAGO products. There is no prerequisite for the exam, though prior study of the NORA Oilheat Technician’s Manual and/or a guide to nozzles, such as the one published by HAGO, is advised.
