PHOENIX - As temperatures rise, Goettl Air Conditioning and radio station Mix 96.9 (KMXP) are partnering to cool down Phoenix’s hottest moms this summer. From May 8 through June 1, Mix 96.9 listeners are invited to nominate a mother they feel deserves a new air conditioning unit by uploading a picture of her onto the station’s Website, www.mix969.com.

On June 1, a complete photo gallery of all contestants will appear on the site, where listeners can vote for the mom they think is the “hottest.” On June 15, contestants will be narrowed to the 25 moms who have the most votes. Listeners will then be encouraged to vote again to determine the four hottest moms, who will be awarded on June 26. Each hot mom will receive a new air conditioning unit from Goettl Air Conditioning complete with installation, a grand prize worth approximately $7,000.

Since Phoenix consistently ranks as one of the hottest cities in the nation, Goettl and KMXP said they want to cool things off for hardworking moms as part of Goettl’s 70th anniversary mission to keep everyone in Maricopa County cool.
