The Swifter® Solar Series is a solar-powered hybrid HVLS (high-volume, low-speed) industrial ceiling fan. Available from 12 to 24 feet in diameter, it can be used to efficiently cool very large spaces, such as industrial warehouses, big box stores, manufacturing and assembly plants, large dairy sheds, gymnasiums, and other commercial buildings such as theaters, sports arenas, and airports. The fan can circulate large volumes of air using less than 1 kW of power. In addition, because it is a hybrid system, the fan can operate with limited or no sunlight by automatically and seamlessly switching over to grid power. This eliminates the need for expensive backup batteries.
