Globalcon 2004, presented by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), is scheduled to take place March 24-25 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.

According to AEE, the event is designed to help attendees share the latest developments in the energy field, to explore new technologies, compare energy supply options, and learn about project implementation strategies. The conference will also cover a variety of topics in four technology and related service areas: HVAC and building systems; lighting efficiency; combined heat and power/distributed generation; and plant and facilities management.

AEE will offer five seminars, including "Optimizing HVAC Performance: Chilled Water & Air Distribution Systems," "Optimizing Boiler Performance," "Fundamentals of Building Commissioning," "Fundamentals of Buying & Selling Energy," and "The Theory & Practice of Distributed Generation & Onsite CHP."
