The EER+ has been invented as a cost-effective means to increase air-cooled DX system capacities, which in turn increases the overall efficiencies by 20%, states the company. This “add-on” unit is designed to connect to all split system air conditioning and heat pump systems in residential and commercial applications. The company says that the units can be used with new and existing packaged units, rack systems, and air-cooled chillers. This patented technology decreases the inefficiencies of the condensing section in both the desuperheating and subcooling sections, the manufacturer states.
