The Premium Q is a quad-function geothermal heating and cooling system. According to the manufacturer, the multifunction unit taps into the earth’s energy to provide homeowners with forced-air heating and cooling, hydronic (radiant) heat, and domestic hot water production - all in one convenient package. The system utilizes R-410A refrigerant. The FormiShield™ coating on the air coil resists corrosion and increases equipment life, while the ThermoShield™ coating on the coaxial water coil protects the heat exchanger. Features include a dual-capacity scroll compressor, LED status lights that are mounted at waist height on the outside of the unit to indicate normal operation, and a variable-speed ECM blower motor.
