Gentech International Ltd.: Liquid Level Sensors

The VCS-07/VCS-08 vertical compact liquid level sensors features a Kynar® housing and polyphenylene float designed to handle temperatures up to 110 degrees C (230 degrees F). They are 59mm long with a float diameter of 22mm. Sensors are available with a series of interface units for AC and DC high power and turbulence suppression functions. They provide UL-listed reed switch repeatability and reliability and are capable of sensing level rise or fall by 180-degree rotation of the float, the company states. According to the manufacturer, these units are ideal for hot water in HVAC systems and potable water applications in drink dispensing/vending equipment.
