General Filters: Whole-House Dehumidifier

The 1300, a 120-V whole-house dehumidifier, is designed to control excess humidity in any home. The coil removes excess moisture of up to 130 pints per day. The integral dehumidistat control automatically maintains the desired set point. The automatic defrost system will turn off the compressor, but allow the fan to operate until any ice accumulation is melted. Once the coil is clear, the dehumidifier will resume normal operation. The permanent nylon mesh filter captures particulates and airborne dirt to improve IAQ. For quiet operation, the cabinet is lined with 1-inch-thick, high-density expanded polyethylene insulation, which absorbs and reflects sound. It can be easily accessed from either side for cleaning.
