MoreNOVI, Mich. - Effective April 1, General Filters Inc. is no longer manufacturing the E2 Automatic Digital Humidistat. The E2 will temporarily be replaced with the E1 Automatic Electronic Humidistat. The GeneralAire Elite Steam Humidifier models and GeneralAire Elite 1000 and 900 Automatic Model Flow-Through Humidifiers will now be shipped with the E1 Automatic Electronic Humidistat.
“The E1 Automatic Electronic Humidistat has been a very reliable workhorse for some time,” said the company. “It has a manual mode option feature and allows for the outdoor sensor to extend up to 250 feet when using the outdoor temperature compensating function.”
General Filters Inc. intends to introduce the new GFX3 Automatic Digital Humidistat on Dec. 1 of this year.
