Free Webinar Offered on Commercial Geothermal

TROY, Mich. - A free hour-long Webinar titled “Achieving Success in a Commercial Geothermal Market” will take place on July 8, 2009 at 1 p.m. EDT. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently announced that it will offer nearly $50 million in funds from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act to accelerate the deployment of geothermal heat pumps (GHPs). According to the DOE, GHPs can substantially reduce the electricity demand for buildings, providing building owners and residents with lower utility bills and reduced maintenance costs.

Presenters include Michael Albertson, WaterFurnace International vice president commercial sales and marketing, and Mike Kapps, vice president of LoopMaster International. Event moderator, Mike Murphy, editor-in-chief of The NEWS, will be on hand to direct questions from the audience to the panelists.

This is the second in a series of Webinars that will discuss why and how to sell green technology, and how becoming a WaterFurnace dealer provides the opportunity. The event will also be archived for 12 months for viewing, but you must register prior to July 8.
