A larger pipe temperature clamp is designed to help professionals in the HVACR industry quickly measure the temperatures and reveal how well systems are functioning. The 80PK-10 pipe clamp temperature probe attaches securely to pipes so technicians can quickly measure temperature and superheat - factors key to analyzing and adjusting cooling system performance. It is designed for pipe diameters of 1.25-2.5 inches (32-64 mm). The clamp is available by itself and as part of the new 80PK-18 pipe clamp temperature probe kit, which also includes the smaller 80PK-8 pipe clamp temperature probe with a capacity of 6.4-34.9 mm (0.25-1.375 inches) in a soft carrying case. Together the two probes cover a full range of pipe sizes. Both temperature probes feature durable ribbon sensors with type-K thermocouples for fast temperature and superheat measurements. Measurement range is -20° to 300°F (-29° to 149°C). Measurements are repeatable to 1° (0.56°). Each probe has a 39-inch (1 m) lead.
