Feb. 9, 2011: Heat Controller Announces Territory Changes

JACKSON, Mich. - Heat Controller Inc. has announced three sales territory realignments:

• Cain Sales Co., Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., new to the Heat Controller family, will cover the state of Florida for Comfort-Aire products, with the exception of the western Panhandle area. Michael Hollis is the principal.

• Texas Reps, a long-time Comfort-Aire agency, has had its sales territory expanded to include the entire state of Texas as well as Oklahoma. Texas Reps is located in Stafford, Texas, with Ray Weaver as principal.

• Midwest Sales and Marketing, which is currently responsible for Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and western Wisconsin, has added the states of Nebraska and Iowa (with the exception of nine counties along the southeastern border) to its coverage. Dave Skindelien is the principal for the agency, which represents both the Comfort-Aire and Century brands.

Heat Controller also presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Jack Christian, one of the company’s veteran sales representatives. The award was presented by Don Peck, president and CEO of Heat Controller, and Lou Rasmussen, vice president of sales.

Christian, who is a principal with Christian and Co. based in West Bloomfield, Mich., has represented the Heat Controller line for 35 years. During that time, the agency has received numerous HCI sales awards including “Agency of Year.” The agency’s territory encompasses the state of Michigan for both the Century and Comfort-Aire brands.
