Feb. 25, 2004: ACCA Announces ‘Best Contractors On Web' Finalists

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced the finalists for its second annual "Best Contractors on the Web" Internet Marketing Awards. The awards program recognizes contractors who have successfully used their Web sites to promote their company's products or services.

"For the second year, the quality of the submissions was overwhelming," said Kevin W. Holland, vice president of Communications and Membership Services. "If anything, there was a marked increase in both the professionalism and the 'marketing-savvy' of the Web sites entered into the competition. This made narrowing down the finalists quite difficult."

In the residential category, finalists are:

  • Simpson Heating & Cooling (Virginia) www.simpson-heat.com

  • Shafer Services (Texas) www.shaferservices.com

  • AAA Heating & Cooling (Oregon) www.aaaiaq.com

  • Colonial Plumbing & Heating (Virginia) www.colonialplumbing.com

  • Cropp-Metcalfe (Virginia) www.croppmetcalfe.com

In the commercial category, finalists are:

  • Shapiro & Duncan (Maryland) www.shapiroandduncan.com

  • Air Comfort Corp (Illinois) www.aircomfort.com

  • CMS Mechanical (Florida) www.cmsmechanical.com

  • Ross Mechanical Group (Pennsylvania) www.rossmechanicalgroup.com

The finalists' Web sites are being featured at this year's ACCA Conference & Indoor Air Expo in New Orleans, February 25-28, 2004, at the conference's Cyber Cafe free Internet kiosks. Winners will be announced in March.
