Feb. 18, 2011: CroppMetcalfe Services Named ACCA's 2011 Residential Contractor of the Year

SAN ANTONIO - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced that CroppMetcalfe Services of Fairfax, Va., is the residential winner of the association's 2011 Contractors of the Year program.

The winner was announced at ACCA’s 43rd Annual Conference and Indoor Air Expo in San Antonio.

“This year’s Contractors of the Year finalists were all notable contracting businesses with unique approaches to serving their customers, and we are pleased to recognize CroppMetcalfe Services as the winner,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president and CEO. “CroppMetcalfe Services epitomizes the idea of a total service provider for its customers, by being successful in many fields without compromising quality or satisfaction. They are known as a leader in the industry, because even with their success, they continue to support the industry and ACCA.”

“The past year has been an amazing one for CroppMetcalfe and this award is the crowning achievement for everything we have accomplished,” said Mitchell Cropp, CEO of CroppMetcalfe Services. “It is an honor to be recognized by such a prestigious organization as ACCA and in 2011 we will continue to make strides in our goal for Customers for Life.”

“This award really goes to our employees,” said Tim Cropp, president of CroppMetcalfe Services. “Their dedication and commitment to the customer are what keeps us moving forward and a leader in the industry. CroppMetcalfe would not be where we are today without our loyal employees.”

A full profile of CroppMetcalfe Services will be published in the summer Contractor Excellence, as well as on the magazine’s website, www.contractorexcellence.com.

The other residential finalists this year were Doctor Cool & Professor Heat Inc. in League City, Texas, and Jackson & Sons Inc. in Dudley, N.C. Profiles of these companies will also be published on www.contractorexcellence.com later this year.
