Emerson Launches Web Site For Middle East And Africa

ST. LOUIS - Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson, has announced the launch of a Web site specifically designed for the Middle East and Africa region. The site (www.emersonclimate.com/mea) was developed to provide contractors and customers in the region with a single online destination for Emerson Climate Technologies product and services information.

The site includes information from various Emerson Climate Technologies divisions, including Copeland, Emerson Climate Technologies Flow Controls (formerly Alco), HVACR Motors, White-Rodgers, Computer Process Controls, and Therm-O-Disc.

"Our site makes it possible to better serve our customers in the Middle East and Africa region in new and exciting ways," said Pratap Chavan, vice president and managing director for Emerson Climate Technologies – Middle East and Africa.

"Contractors and customers will now be able to access information for any Emerson HVAC product or service from any location, anywhere in the world. This is the first step toward providing our customers a single source for all their HVACR needs."

The Web site, which is targeted towards HVACR contractors and end users, addresses the needs of the Middle East and African markets. It features regional news, information on regional issues, high ambient performance data, educational material, training schedules, and case studies. Specific features include:

  • Compressor troubleshooting techniques, technical tips, and key product operating information.

  • The ability to search for authorized Emerson Climate Technologies distributors, HVAC contractors, and authorized service centers in the region.

  • A "Frequently Asked Questions" section where users can access information about Emerson Climate Technologies products, as well as technical FAQs.

  • Downloadable compressor selection, energy calculator, and heat load calculation software tools.

  • Key product specifications and high ambient performance data for hermetic, semi-hermetic, and scroll compressors and condensing units.

"Emerson Climate Technologies understands that Middle East and Africa have very unique HVACR and service needs, and is dedicated to meeting those needs and supporting the region's HVACR needs," said Chavan. "Through our new Web site, we are better able to effectively communicate with contractors and customers to give them the tools they need to successfully grow their business."
