EKA Schedules Energy Program

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Empire Keystone Association (EKA) of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) has announced the 41st annual EKA Regional Conference: "Energy Efficiency & the HVACR Industry."

The conference will be hosted by the Hudson Mohawk chapter of RSES and will be held April 21–25 at the Best Western Sovereign Hotel in Albany.

The conference will showcase approximately 50 different training sessions scheduled around five tracks: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; refrigeration; building science/IAQ/building controls; business/

marketing/sales; and testing and certification.

Attendees will have the opportunity to take refresher training for all currently available core and specialty exams through North American Technician Excellence (NATE). NATE exams will be offered each day, as well as RSES Certificate Member and Certificate Member Specialty exams. Safe Handling of Refrigerants – Section 608 training and testing will also be available.

The program is supported by a number of manufacturers and organizations. Several will display a number of products during a vendor exhibit scheduled for April 24.
