The Smart Thermostat is a programmable thermostat that allows homeowners to program it easily and in seconds by using its touch screen or over the Internet. It has an easy-to-read, full-color LCD screen, featuring touch-screen technology. Its guided wizard function leads the homeowner through each step of the programming process with a series of simple questions. The Weather setting provides the latest forecast for the homeowner’s specific region. The Quick Save setting automatically sets the user’s thermostat into energy conservation mode, while the Program mode shows the user the current settings. The Details mode provides the customer access to all of the heating and cooling settings, and the Vacation mode allows the user to create a vacation setting, to save energy while away. It supports multistage systems (up to four heat-two cool). Features include humidity monitoring and control, advanced furnace fan control, ventilator control, frost-free setting, and flood detection capability.
