"Once again our associates have let their actions speak for themselves at this important time of the year," said Dina Dwyer-Owens, president and CEO of The Dwyer Group. Each year, military Hummer vehicles on loan from the National Guard arrive at The Dwyer Group's corporate headquarters the week of Thanksgiving to load the hundreds of boxes of food donated and collected by Dwyer Group employees. The Dwyer Group matches associates' contributions and, year after year, the associates come through for the community. The food then is delivered to Caritas, a locally owned and operated nonprofit agency, which distributes it to needy people in the area.

The Dwyer Group has consistently topped its own food drive records over the last four years:

2000 – 6,545 pounds

2001 – 7,239 pounds

2002 – 8,680 pounds

2003 – 10,050 pounds
