The furnace mounting blocks are used to elevate furnaces. Each of the manufacturer's mounting blocks hold 40 percent more weight (over 500 pounds) than competitive plastic products, claims the company. The block is topped by 1/4 inch of EVA foam for vibration and noise elimination, states the manufacturer. A high-tack adhesive joins the equipment and the mounting block, allowing larger load-bearing surface and greater adhesion than any other manufacturer's product, claims the company. High side rails keep the equipment in place, the manufacturer says. The product is rated UL94 Class HB for flammability.
