JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Baker Distributing Co. LLC, the largest subsidiary of Watsco, has added eight locations to its operations with the purchase of Tennessee-based A&R Supply Co., an HVACR distributor. A&R Supply has served the industry since 1957 and has four locations in Tennessee, three in Mississippi, and one in Arkansas.

The addition of A&R will expand Baker’s coverage in these three states to seven service centers in Tennessee, eight in Mississippi, and three in Arkansas. As part of Baker Distributing Co., the A&R locations will now offer its customers the services available through Baker, such as 24/7 emergency service, online ordering, special orders, expanded product lines, and access to inventory in over 200 locations across the United States.

John Brady, former president of A&R Supply will remain with Baker Distributing Co. and oversee the operations of the A&R locations.
