Distech Controls Inc.: Sensor and Balancing Tool

The EC-Smart Sensor-VAV is a communicating sensor with LCD display and VAV balancing tool. It allows the user to monitor room/outside temperature, adjust set points, view occupancy state, initiate set point override, balance the ECC-VAV configurable single duct VAV controller, select VAV control mode, view all ECC-VAV input and output values, and send a service pin message. User profiles and privileges can be set with password protection. Occupants have access to an interface that makes it possible to view and adjust environmental settings; view occupancy status, space temperature, and outside air; and adjust the set point. Maintenance personnel have access to a configuration mode that allows them to perform air balancing on a connected VAV, toggle temperature units between Celsius and Fahrenheit, specify VAV or VVT mode, and view the values of all inputs and outputs to various of the company's controllers. The sensor has an operating temperature range of 32° to 158°F (0° to 70°C) with an accuracy of ±0.36°F (±0.2°C).
