Dec. 21, 2006: Service Roundtable Releases ‘Business Knowledge Pak'

GRAPEVINE, Texas - The Service Roundtable, a major private contractor group, has announced the release of its “Business Knowledge Pak.” This is a library of 24 eLearning courses selected specifically for contracting companies.

The Business Knowledge Pak courses were selected to cover a variety of business topics essential to the modern contracting environment, including customer retention, sales, financial management, negotiation, employee management, communication, time management, safety, computer skills, and others. The courses are Internet-based and can be taken in any order, at any time, for up to one year after purchase. The Business Knowledge Pak costs $89 for a one-year, one-student subscription, which represents an 80 percent savings over buying the courses separately, said the organization.

“We particularly like the flexibility of this training,” said David Heimer, Service Roundtable COO. “You can focus on the training you want, skip the topics you don’t need, and get the training at a time and place that’s convenient for you. No need to follow someone else’s schedule.”

“This is essential business knowledge, value priced, and made available in a flexible format,” said Service Roundtable CEO Matt Michel. “Lots of contractors know how to turn a wrench. The Service Roundtable Business Knowledge Pak is designed to help them know how to turn a profit.”

The Service Roundtable serves HVAC and plumbing contractors. For more information, visit www.serviceroundtable.com.
