CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Winters Company, a home services organization specializing in plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen and bath remodeling, announced that it has acquired Cape Ann Plumbing in Gloucester, Mass. The purchase resulted in the hiring of six new employees by Winters Company and is part of the company’s overall growth and development strategy.
“Purchasing Cape Ann Plumbing was a great opportunity to engage all of our employees in a very important and special way,” said Winters Company President and CEO Tim Flynn. “To ensure this was a great success, everybody who works here took part in our hiring and recruiting process and shaped our plans for growing the business in Gloucester. We are all thrilled to work within that community and pledge to earn its trust and loyalty.”
Cape Ann Plumbing, operated by JW Services, provided plumbing and heating service to customers in the Gloucester area for 25 years.
Winters Company dispatches its service technicians to customers’ homes from facilities in Cambridge, Natick, and now Gloucester.
