The AMP motorized panel fans are completely speed controllable, with a single-phase PSC motor. Both motor and impeller are located directly in the airstream, where the impeller acts as a rotating heat sink with heat dissipation and efficient motor cooling. The coupling of the motor and impeller minimizes space requirements and provides for vibration-free operation. Near zero speeds can be achieved using solid-state speed controls. The panel fans can be used where space is limited. They have 115- or 230-vac single-phase 60-Hz operation; for 50-Hz operation or other voltages, the customers can consult the factory. The fans have capacities between 300 and 1,700 cfm. Features include rated for 70°C ambient operation, standard or reverse airflow configuration, and heavy-gauge steel painted black. Matching capacitors are available.
