ComStar International Inc.: PIPE JOINT SEALANT

A new, fast-drying, heavy-duty pipe joint sealant called Seal Joint #5 has been introduced that is excellent for sealing, lubricating, and protecting NPT thread connections on iron, galvanized and stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and on plastic pipe and gasket material, says the company. Seal Joint #5 can be used on lines containing refrigerants, oils, natural gas, air, steam, water, and other fluids, and can be used for service temperatures between –60° and 450°F, liquid pressure up to 10,000 psi, and gas pressure up to 2,500 psi, says the manufacturer.
