The Coleman® LX Series Air Conditioners are available in cooling capacities that range from 1.5 to 5 tons and incorporate MicroChannel technology. The 13 and 14.5 SEER units are available with a choice of R-22 or R-410A refrigerant. A fully louvered steel coil guard, corner posts, and a polymer mesh protect the condensing coils from damage. The compressor is protected by the simultaneous operation of a high-pressure relief valve and a temperature sensor. The unit's heavy-duty cabinet is made of powder-painted steel that resists corrosion and rust creep.

The smaller footprint makes the units ideal for multi-family applications or anywhere cooling is essential and space is limited. In testing, the MicroChannel coil withstood 7,000 hours of salt spray, making the units desirable for coastal applications as well.

Fully exposed refrigerant connections and a single panel covering the electrical controls make for easy servicing of the unit. Also, secured reusable service valves are provided on both the liquid and vapor sweat connections for ease of evacuating and charging.
