The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has released a new 3-disc computer video training package on basic financial management for contractors. “Finances for Contractors: Getting, Understanding, and Using Your Financial Data to Make Good Business Decisions” offers comprehensive instruction aimed specifically at contractors on interpreting and using their financial data to maintain cash flow, increase profits, make decisions about growth, and plan their ultimate exit strategy.

The program is presented by Skip Snyder of The Snyder Co., a contractor from Pennsylvania who is a past chairman of ACCA. Recognizing that contractors do not need to be accountants or bookkeepers, Snyder breaks through the difficult jargon of finance “to share with contractors exactly what they need to run a profitable business,” he said.

Each CD in the set includes the computer presentation as well as handouts and example worksheets.
