Formerly Automatic Equipment Sales, Carrier Mid Atlantic in Baltimore distributes Bryant and Payne equipment. The company will now assume distribution rights to all Carrier dealers and contractors in the greater Baltimore area.

Don Cawley, president of Carrier Enterprises, said that offering the Carrier brand here provides “a unique opportunity to further strengthen our increasingly growing distribution channel.” Peter Hart, regional manager, Carrier Mid Atlantic, stated, “We are well-equipped to aggressively integrate the Carrier brand in this important market, and will make every effort to make the addition of these new channel partners and customers as seamless as possible.”

Carrier Enterprises includes Carrier Florida, Carrier Canada, Wemers, and previously acquired distributors A.T. Distributors (now Carrier Mid-South), Automatic Equipment Sales (now Carrier Mid Atlantic, South Texas, and Oklahoma), Carleton Stuart (now Carrier Northeast), Carrier Bock and Climatic Southwest (now Carrier North Texas), Shollmier Distributing, Inc. (now Carrier South Central), and Thermo Industries (now Carrier North Carolina).
