Taco recently held a contest to name its new variable-speed pump. Mario-Luc Ranger of Orlando was one of 50 people who submitted the name “Bumble Bee” for the black and yellow pump. His name was randomly drawn as the grand prize winner of a yellow and black Smart Car. Ranger, a control technician at the University of Central Florida, surprised a small gathering at the Smart Car dealership when he arrived to receive the keys in a full-body bumblebee costume. He received the keys from John White Jr., president and CEO of Taco.
