AMBLER, Pa. - Bradford White Corp. and the United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 1002 recently signed a new seven-year labor agreement. Members of UAW Local 1002 ratified the agreement by a 3-1 margin.
This new Long Term Security Labor Agreement, which will be in effect until Aug. 25, 2014, will allow for manufacturing flexibility to effectively compete in the global marketplace.
A significant part of the agreement is that Bradford White and its employees have developed a unified common goal to be the supplier of choice to customers in the wholesale market. The new contract for Bradford White and its UAW members enables all parties to work together to better serve the water heating industry.
