Aug. 14, 2006: Recruiting Event Set for HVACR, Plumbing, and Electrical Contractors

LAKE DALLAS, Texas - The 2006 Recruiting 101 Boot Camp, designed for HVACR, plumbing, and electrical contractors, has been set for Oct. 27, 2006, at the Edgewater Beach Resort in Panama City, Fla. This event will be presented by industry recruiting expert Mike Mayberry, president of HVAC Agent, Plumbing Agent, and Electrical Agent, as well as Terry Nicholson, president of Success Group International.

The boot camp has been developed to help attendees learn what it takes to find, attract, and hire top talent and walk away with information that can be implemented into their recruiting efforts immediately.

Topics covered will include:

  • How to increase the number of qualified applicants without spending additional money on employment advertising.

  • Understanding the statistics of recruiting and how they affect the odds of finding the person to hire.

  • How to leverage recruiting dollars.

  • Strategies for recruiting people from outside the local area.

  • How to position the company as the type that the best people want to work for.
