LAS VEGAS and SAN DIEGO - ARS/Rescue Rooter has announced two acquisitions. Yes! ARS has acquired substantially all the assets of the Las Vegas location of Service Max, through parent company American Residential Services L.L.C. Also, ARS/Rescue Rooter has acquired Lloyds Plumbing Heating & Air of San Diego through parent company American Residential Services L.L.C.

According to the company, with the acquisition of Service Max, Yes! ARS now becomes a dominant HVAC service and replacement provider in the Las Vegas area, and a leading member of the ARS/Rescue Rooter Network, a national network of more than 60 branches that provide HVAC and plumbing across the country.

“Service Max is well-known throughout the area for their superior customer service and workmanship, and we are proud to have them joining the Yes! ARS family,” said Ken Goodrich, ARS/Rescue Rooter Southwest division vice president.

Service Max will now operate as part of Yes! ARS, and former Service Max principal Curtis Coker will become part of the senior management team.

According to Steve Jaspers, former owner of Lloyds Plumbing Heating & Air, “Joining the ARS/Rescue Rooter family allows us to expand our services throughout San Diego County, while continuing to provide outstanding customer service to our residential and commercial customers in the area.”

Lloyds Plumbing Heating & Air will now operate under the ARS/Rescue Rooter brand, which currently has an established location in San Diego providing heating, air conditioning, and plumbing services. Jaspers has joined the management team of ARS/Rescue Rooter of San Diego.

With the addition of Lloyds, ARS/Rescue Rooter is also positioned to expand its nationwide partnership with Home Depot Home Services. Currently, the company provides HVAC replacement services through more than 250 Home Depot locations nationwide, and will now expand this partnership into San Diego-area locations.

“The acquisition of Lloyds Plumbing Heating & Air allows us to grow our Home Depot HVAC replacement program locally, while expanding our position as the nation’s leading provider of residential HVAC services through the Home Depot partnership,” said Dave Slott, ARS/Rescue Rooter president and chief operating officer.
