The Ultra-Flex flexible duct kit is designed to withstand the deteriorating effect of ultraviolet (UV) light on the inner core of nonmetallic flexible duct, the company says. According to the manufacturer, this product should be used to replace new or existing flexible ductwork that will be directly exposed to damaging ultraviolet radiation from UV biotreatment lamps. Each kit includes a 10-foot piece of the duct and a 4-inch-long metal connecting sleeve.
