Steven Nadel has just been appointed as the new Executive Director, effective February 1, 2001 by the board of directors of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE). Steve will replace Howard Geller, who is leaving ACEEE next May after 20 highly productive years at ACEEE.

The 2001 Radiant Panel Association’s (RPA) annual conference will be exhibiting a new name this year, REX (Radiant Expo). The 2001 conference will be held May 9-12 at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, UT, and will is open to all members of the building industry.

With natural-gas prices on the wholesale market soaring to an all-time high, Puget Sound Energy (Bellevue, WA) has joined other area utilities in filing with state regulators to recognize those higher costs in natural gas customers' bills.
