PHOENIX - Motorcycle and classic car enthusiasts from the Arizona Chapter of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA Arizona) and the Piping Industry Progress and Education Trust Fund (P.I.P.E.), along with members of Sheet Metal Workers International Association, Local 359, and United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada, Local 469, participated in the first ever "Wheels for Meals Poker Run," a motorcycle and classic car rally to benefit the Area Agency on Aging's home meal delivery program.

The event consisted of a motorcycle ride and lunch with five scheduled stops throughout Phoenix and Scottsdale. At each stop, participants received a playing card, trying to make the best poker hand. A $600 pot was distributed among the top three best poker hands. The event raised over $2,000.
