CHICAGO – ASA ANSINET®, a plumbing, heating, cooling and piping (PHCP) industry e-commerce/EDI system, has welcomed the American Supply Association (ASA) Center for Advancing Technology into its system.

Several companies, including Lasco Fittings, have transferred the processing of all EDI transactions to ASA ANSINET. “ASA ANSINET represents the direction we are taking Lasco,” said Don Brewer, Lasco Fittings’ EDI coordinator. “It is standardizing how the PHCP industry communicates, and this is already reducing our overall supply chain costs and improving our working relationships with our customers."

According to a company press release, traffic to the system has increased 1000 percent in one year. ASA ANSINET is a full-service EDI system, made available through the Management Information Systems Group, Inc. (MISG).
